Rooted in Ghana, Driven by Conservation
Conservation Catalyst Network is a Ghana-based environmental organization dedicated to protecting biodiversity, restoring ecosystems, and strengthening community-led conservation across Ghana’s forest and coastal landscapes.
We work at the intersection of conservation, community empowerment, ecological restoration, climate resilience, and sustainable development. Our approach recognizes that healthy ecosystems and thriving communities are deeply interconnected, and that long-term conservation success depends on inclusive participation, local ownership, and strong environmental governance.
Founded by conservation practitioners with extensive experience in biodiversity conservation, GIS and ecological monitoring, community-based natural resource management, and restoration ecology, the organization was established to respond to growing environmental pressures facing Ghana’s forests, wetlands, wildlife habitats, and forest-dependent communities.
Our work focuses on strengthening community conservation systems, supporting biodiversity protection, promoting sustainable livelihoods, and advancing science-informed conservation solutions. We collaborate closely with local communities, traditional authorities, government agencies, civil society organizations, researchers, and development partners to create lasting environmental and social impact.
